TNA Bound For Glory
Tampa, Florida, at the Yuengling Center
Aired live on October 11, 2026, on pay-per-view
-The pre-show featured the TNA Hall of Fame inductions of ODB, Amazing Red, and Konnan. Frankie Kazarian inducted Red, who announced during his acceptance speech that he will be in the X Division Championship match, which is now a seven-way match.
-Cruz Montana/Mike Santana inducted Konnan, who did not appear.
-ODB was inducted by Al Snow and Traci Brooks. ODB said her parents’ first date was an AWA event at the Minneapolis Auditorium. She also said the Knockouts don’t get enough credit. “We started the evolution before there was a goddamn Evolution,” ODB said.
Powell’s POV: With the pre-show lasting only 30 minutes, the speeches were brief. Also, WrestleTix listed the venue as being set up for 2,483, with 2,271 tickets distributed. The total number of seats on the map is 9,440.
The main card opened with ring announcer McKenzie Mitchell introducing Women of Rock’s Aimée MaGee, who performed the national anthem while standing in the ring… A Bound For Glory video package aired… Tom Hannifan and Matt Rehwoldt were on commentary…
Ricky Sosa made his entrance for the opening match. Eddie Edwards’ entrance followed. Alisha Edwards accompanied Eddie, who wore a mask that he removed once he was in the ring…
1. Ricky Sosa vs. Eddie Edwards (w/Alisha Edwards). The referee wore a La France shirt while Hannifan plugged the sponsor. The bell rang, and Eddie ran at Sosa, who put up his boot. A short time later, Eddie knocked Sosa off the apron. Eddie distracted the referee while Alisha jumped off the apron and put Sosa down with a tornado DDT.
Later, Sosa jumped from the floor and pulled a seated Eddie off the apron with a huracanrana. Sosa got back in the ring before running the ropes and diving over the top rope onto Eddie on the floor. Sosa sent Eddie back inside the ring and then hit him with a springboard cutter for a near fall.
Eddie came back with a clothesline and a powerbomb for a two count. Eddie performed a short-arm clothesline and a tiger bomb for a near fall. Eddie eventually charged for a Boston Knee Party, but Sosa countered with a variation of a Michinoku Driver.
Sosa indicated that he was about to perform his finisher, but he spotted Alisha on the ropes behind him. Alisha dove at Sosa, who caught her and performed a Blue Thunder Bomb. Eddie drilled Sosa with a Boston Knee Party. Moments later, Sosa avoided Eddie’s top rope moonsault. Sosa hit the Headshot. Sosa ran the ropes and hit another Headshot before covering Eddie for the three count.
Ricky Sosa beat Eddie Edwards in 11:40.
Afterward, Sosa celebrated his win. Eddie got to his feet and shook Sosa’s hand. Eddie scooped up Alisha and carried her to the back…
Powell’s POV: Who shakes hands with a guy who just performed a Blue Thunder Bomb on his wife? Anyway, this was a good opener. The company made the right call in having the younger wrestler beat the gatekeeper.
The broadcast team ran through the pay-per-view lineup…
Leon Slater delivered a promo on the backstage interview set. Slater said he’s not walking into the main event to show Nic Nemeth that he belongs in his world. Rather, he wants to show that Nemeth is now in Slater’s world. Slater said he’s one win away from becoming the youngest TNA World Champion in history, which is something he said he’s trained for since he was nine years old…
Entrances for the X Division Title match took place…
2. Cedric Alexander vs. KC Navarro vs. Fabian Aichner vs. Rich Swann vs. Ryan Nemeth vs. BDE vs. Amazing Red in a seven-way match for the vacant X Division Championship. The bell rang to start the match. Ryan wanted to shake hands with everyone, but Navarro superkicked him. Navarro hit Aichner with a Blessing in Disguise and had him pinned, but Ryan pulled the referee out of the ring. Navarro avoided Code Red from the ropes. Red caught Navarro on the ropes. After they fought for position, Red performed a Spanish Fly from the top rope. Red followed up with Code Red and scored the pin.
Amazing Red defeated KC Navarro, Cedric Alexander, Fabian Aichner, Rich Swann, Ryan Nemeth, and BDE in a seven-way match in 10:30 to win the vacant X Division Championship.
Red celebrated his win and then exited the ring. Frankie Kazarian came out and fist-bumped Red on the entrance ramp…
Powell’s POV: I just sat back and watched the spot-fest rather than trying to keep up with all those moves. It was an entertaining sprint. This was a nice moment for Red, who was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame roughly an hour earlier. I’m cool with Red winning, but TNA needs to build new stars, so hopefully he will elevate a younger wrestler when he loses the title.
TNA World Champion Nic Nemeth delivered a promo on the backstage interview set. Nemeth, who also had one of the TNA Tag Team Title belts over his shoulder, said he’s stolen the show everywhere he’s gone and is a multi-time world champion. Nemeth said he knows how great Leon Slater is, but he also knows that no one outworks him. Nemeth said all Slater has to do is beat the best man in the business. If not, he said Slater would have to go to the back of the line…
3. Allie and Kiera Hogan vs. Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler for the Knockouts Tag Team Titles. Both entrances were televised. Hannifan said Allie and Hogan had never lost as a tag team. He said they first teamed up in 2018. He also noted that Allie paid tribute to Andy “The Butcher” Williams.
Baszler toyed with Allie to start. Both wrestlers tagged out. Baszler eventually made a blind tag before hitting Hogan from behind. Later, Serrano ran Allie into the ring steps while Baszler and Hogan were fighting inside the ring. The announcers played up the idea that Hogan might have to finish the match without her partner.
Hogan performed a sunset bomb on Serrano. Allie returned to the apron and tagged in. Allie worked over Serrano and then performed the Upside Down on Baszler while Hannifan noted that it was an homage to Rosemary. Allie put Serrano down and had her pinned, but Baszler broke it up.
Later, Serrano took out Hogan with a knee strike. Allie hit Serrano with a Codebreaker, but Baszler blasted Allie with a knee strike. Serrano popped Allie into another Baszler knee strike. The challengers came back and worked over Allie. Baszler choked out Allie for the win…
Zoey Serrano and Shayna Baszler defeated Allie and Kiera Hogan in 8:45 to win the Knockouts Tag Team Titles.
Powell’s POV: The right team definitely went over, and the best part is that it means this isn’t a one-off appearance for Baszler.
4. Call Your Shot gauntlet for a shot at any TNA championship at any time. The No. 1 entrant was Trey Miguel, and the No. 2 entrant was Avery Styles. Hannifan said no one in the history of the company had ever faced the type of pressure that Avery was feeling. Avery threw a dropkick that appeared to come up short, but he acted as if it connected.
The No. 3 entrant was Bear Bronson, who worked over Miguel and Styles.
The No. 4 entrant was Frankie Kazarian, who worked with Avery to put down Bronson. They were about to square off, but they stopped once the countdown started.
The No. 5 entrant was Dutch. Hannifan recalled that The Righteous tried to recruit Harley Hudson on Impact.
The No. 6 entrant was LJ Cleary. I believe I’m legally obligated to state that Cleary is engaged to WWE wrestler Lyra Valkyria.
The No. 7 entrant was Gabby Forza. Speaking of significant others, Gabby and her husband Bear Bronson are both in this match. They went face to face. Forza blocked a punch from Bronson and then worked him over and clotheslined him while he was leaning against the ropes. Cleary whipped Forza toward Bronson, who put her down with a shoulder block and then eliminated Cleary.
The No. 8 entrant was Matthew Rehwoldt. He started to loosen his shirt while boasting on commentary that he would take over. Hannifan questioned why Rehwoldt didn’t tell him. Rehwoldt said he would have stooged the news to the dirt sheets.
The No. 9 entrant was Heather by Elegance. She eliminated Rehwoldt, who landed on his feet, quickly put his jacket on, and then just sat down and put his headset on as if nothing had happened. Funny. Hannifan said the shortest person on the roster eliminated Rehwoldt.
The No. 10 entrant was Vincent. Rehwoldt continued to act as if nothing had happened. Hannifan wondered if Rehwoldt blacked out.
The No. 11 entrant was Harley Hudson, who came out and pulled Heather by Elegance out from underneath the ring. Hudson sent Heather back inside the ring and then followed. Hudson performed a drop toehold that sent Forza into the crotch of her husband, Bronson.
The No. 12 entrant was AJ Francis. A group of wrestlers tried and failed to eliminate Francis.
The No. 13 entrant was Elijah. Francis failed to perform an Alabama Slam, so he went for a chokeslam, but Elijah caught him with a knee strike.
The No. 14 entrant was Knockouts TV Champion M by Elegance. M and Heather both wore buccaneer outfits. Heather went for a headscissors takedown on Elijah, who stuffed it and then put her down with a tombstone piledriver.
The No. 15 entrant was Home Town Man. He wore a Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey to the ring. Francis confronted him while the announcers explained that Francis actually played for the Buccaneers. Bronson eliminated Dutch. Hudson climbed on Bronson’s back. Bronson set her on the apron and knocked her off, but she fell into Dutch’s arms. Dutch put her back on the apron, and she returned to the ring since her feet never hit the ground.
The No. 16 entrant was Brian Myers. Hannifan said this was Myers’ eighth Bound For Glory match and his fourth Call Your Shot Gauntlet match. Hannifan said Myers has the most eliminations in the match’s history with 13.
The No. 17 entrant was Mr. Elegance. Rehwoldt said the Elegance Brand had three entrants in the ring. Hannifan said he would lose his mind if The Concierge entered the match. Myers eliminated Vincent. Heather and Hudson fought near the ropes. M by Elegance eliminated both of them. Forza eliminated M, who was confronted by her upset partner, Heather.
The No. 18 entrant was Elayna Black. Forza eliminated Bronson.
The No. 19 entrant was Jada Stone and Ben Bishop. Bishop walked out and shoved Stone down on the stage. Bishop introduced himself and said he’s been screaming at TNA for an opportunity for years. He said no one was smart enough to give him one, so he was taking it for himself. Stone entered the ring and eliminated Bishop. Myers eliminated Stone. Home Town Man eliminated Myers. Francis eliminated Home Town Man and then Forza.
The No. 20 entrant was Joe Alonzo, who walked out with a microphone and boasted about how he would win the match. Alonzo superkicked Black. Styles confronted Alonzo, who poked him in the eye. Avery came back and eliminated Alonzo and then Mr. Elegance.
The broadcast team could no longer be heard. Avery pushed Francis over the top, but Expressions emerged from under the ring, and Francis was able to stand on his back to avoid elimination. Francis grabbed Black by the throat and tossed her onto a pair of wrestlers on the floor to eliminate her. Kazarian eliminated Elijah.
The final four (unless someone is hiding) were Miguel, Styles, Kazarian, and Francis. Styles got the better of Francis and set up for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Francis shoved him off the apron to eliminate him. Miguel eliminated Francis moments later.
The final two were Miguel and Kazarian. Miguel slipped on the ropes while going for a springboard move, but he recovered quickly. Both wrestlers traded pin attempts. Kazarian came out on top of it by getting the three count.
Frankie Kazarian won the Call Your Shot gauntlet in 34:05 to earn a shot at any TNA championship at any time.
The referee presented Kazarian with the Call Your Shot trophy. Kazarian mugged with the trophy before heading to the back…
Powell’s POV: This is the third year in a row that Kazarian won. Technically, he split last year’s win with Nic Nemeth because they were declared co-winners. The crowd didn’t seem thrilled with Kazarian’s win, and I can’t blame them, as I was also hoping for something new. The broadcast team’s audio did not return during the match.
A video package recapped the Order 4 drama. Entrances for the four-way match took place. Jason Hotch stopped and kissed his wife, who was in the crowd. A Mustafa Ali video aired. Two women knelt on the stage during Ali’s entrance. There was still no commentary…
Powell’s POV: Why can’t this audio problem occur when Booker T is going off on one of his tangents while calling NXT?!?
5. Mustafa Ali vs. Jason Hotch vs. John Skyler (w/Mila Moore) vs. Special Agent Zero (w/Tasha Steelz) in “The Order 4-way” for the TNA International Championship. The match started without commentary. Hotch performed an early moonsault onto Ali, who was on the floor. The broadcast team could be seen with their headsets on, and they appeared to be calling the match, but they couldn’t be heard. Ugh.
Zero had a big run of offense. Zero grabbed Hotch and Skyler by the throat at ringside, only for Ali to hit him with a suicide dive. Ali barked at Hotch and Skyler, who placed Zero on a table while he went up top. Steelz tried to intervene, but she fell onto the table when Moore hit her with a shoe. Ali performed a 450 splash from the top rope that put Zero and Steelz through the table.
Ali got cocky until he realized Hotch and Skyler were focused on him. They put Ali down in the ring. Hotch went for the pin, but Skyler pulled him off. Hotch and Skyler spoke, hugged, and then slugged it out. Ali returned to the ring. Skyler performed a double Cody Red. At ringside, Zero pressed Moore over his head and dropped her on the apron.
Finally, the broadcast team’s audio returned. Zero moved the half ring steps inside the ring and set them on their side while Ali was seated on the turnbuckle behind them. Zero ran Skyler into the steps. Ali slammed Zero’s head into the steps. Hotch ran across the ring and jumped to the top of the steps and then superplexed Ali. Cool spot. A “TNA” chant broke out while all four men were down. They all fought on their knees and then as they got to their feet.
Moments later, Hotch hit Zero with a double stomp from the top rope. Ali hit Hotch with a 450 splash and got a two count, but Hotch hooked Ali into a pin and got the three count.
Jason Hotch defeated Mustafa Ali, John Skyler, and Special Agent Zero in a four-way in 13:15 to win the TNA International Championship.
Afterward, Hotch went to ringside and had a moment with his wife and adorable daughter…
Powell’s POV: As much as it felt like someone hit fast-forward on what had been a great story involving the Order 4 members, this was still the company’s best storyline going into the pay-per-view. The match felt like it could have used a little more time, but it was still my favorite match of the night so far. I’m fine with Hotch winning, but with all of the rapid-fire twists and turns in recent weeks, they didn’t really set things up in a way that had fans clamoring to see him regain the championship.
A video package set up the Knockouts Championship match…
6. Xia Brookside vs. Indi Hartwell for the Knockouts Championship with special guest referee Mickie James. McKenzie Mitchell delivered in-ring introductions for the title match. Brookside dominated the early offense while Hannifan recalled Hartwell’s family traveling 30 hours to watch her challenge for the Knockouts Title in a match she lost to Kelani Jordan.
Brookside removed a turnbuckle pad. Mickie confronted Brookside, who was rolled up by Hartwell for a two count. Hartwell took offensive control. Brookside tried to leave, but Hartwell caught her and tossed her back inside the ring. Hartwell went for a top rope elbow drop that Brookside avoided. Brookside hit a Codebreaker for a two count. Hartwell hit Brookside, who responded with a thumb to the eye.
Mickie confronted Brookside, who ended up slapping her. James responded by punching Brookside. Hartwell covered the champion, and James made the count, but Brookside kicked out. Hartwell set up for her finisher, but Brookside slipped away and shoved her into an exposed turnbuckle. Brookside hit her Dark Side DDT finisher, but it only resulted in a two count.
Brookside set up for another DDT, but Hartwell shoved her into the exposed turnbuckle. Hartwell hit a top rope elbow drop and hit Hurts Donut for the win.
Indi Hartwell defeated Xia Brookside in 10:25 to win the TNA Knockouts Championship.
Afterward, James hugged Hartwell and gave her the Knockouts Championship belt…
Powell’s POV: I wanted to like this more than I did. It was merely decent. They worked hard, and the fans were happy to see Hartwell win, but her big title win didn’t feel as significant as it should have.
Moose made his entrance. Max Caster rapped while making his entrance…
7. Moose vs. Max Caster. Moose hit Go To Hell a few minutes into the match, but Caster kicked out of a pin attempt. Caster took control and hit a Mic Check elbow drop off the apron onto Moose on the floor. Moments later, Caster backdropped Moose onto the bottom half of the ring steps. Caster actually stopped the referee from counting out Moose.
Back in the ring, Moose came back with a superplex. Moose shot right up and set up for a move that Caster countered with a suplex. Caster covered Moose, who kicked out at one. Moose started no-selling Caster’s punches and then headbutted him. Moose hit an uppercut in the corner, a uranage in the corner, and a senton. Moose went for a spear, but Caster cut him off with a clothesline. Caster ducked a Moose clothesline and then rolled him up for a two count.
Caster turned Moose inside out with a clothesline. Caster slammed Moose to the mat and then went up top. Caster went for a Mic Drop, but Moose put his knees up. Moose speared and pinned Caster.
Moose beat Max Caster in roughly 10:45.
Afterward, Moose helped Caster to his feet and then raised his arm. Moose exited the ring…
Powell’s POV: So a guy who was portrayed as a comedic loser throughout his final AEW run as a singles wrestler just took one of TNA’s top stars to the limit? I’m all for Caster getting a shot as a competitive wrestler, but I think the company should have eased into it rather than just having him hang with Moose right out of the gate.
Highlights aired from the Call Your Shot gauntlet, which included footage of Matt Rehwoldt being eliminated by Heather by Elegance. Rehwoldt wondered if it was AI-created footage. Funny…
Backstage, Frankie Kazarian stood with Avery Styles and spoke about winning the Call Your Shot gauntlet for the third time. He said that when he cashes in, it will be for him and Avery challenging for the TNA Tag Team Titles. Kazarian asked Avery if he was good with that. Avery was all smiles…
Powell’s POV: Is Kazarian shooting straight, or will he disappoint Avery by cashing in for a different title or even by cashing in with a different partner?
A video package recapped the arrival of “SYX” in TNA. Entrances for the Falls Count Anywhere match took place…
8. “SYX” Samuel Shaw and Joseph Sawyer vs. Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy in a Falls Count Anywhere match. The teams met in the entrance aisle and brawled to start the match. The teams introduced chairs and then brawled into the crowd during the opening minutes.
Jeff put Shaw down with a DDT on the floor. The Hardys set up a couple of tables underneath a balcony. Jeff went to the balcony and removed his shirt before climbing onto the railing. Jeff jumped off the railing and put Shaw through the tables on the floor. The crowd ate it up and chanted, “This is awesome.”
The Hardys went to the ring and double-teamed Sawyer. They eventually brought him to the stage. The Hardys went backstage and returned with two ladders and a table. Shaw entered the picture and fought with Matt. The Hardys hit simultaneous Twists of Fate and then went back to setting up tables next to the ladders. The Hardys placed Shaw and Sawyer on the tables.
Erick Redbeard (f/k/a Erick Rowan) came out and clotheslined the Hardys. Redbeard powerbombed the Hardys through the tables. Shaw and Sawyer dragged Matt to the ring while Redbeard hoisted Jeff over his shoulder and carried him to the ring. Shaw suplexed Jeff into a Sawyer powerbomb. Redbeard tossed Matt into the ring. Shaw powerbombed Sawyer onto the Hardys. Shaw covered Jeff and got the three count…
“SYX” Samuel Shaw and Joseph Sawyer beat Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy in 12:40 in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Powell’s POV: A crowd-pleasing garbage brawl. It looked like the Hardys were going to hit the big table and ladder spots on the stage, but Redbeard showing up changed everything. It was logical for the heels to win the first match of what should be a long feud. Will Nikki Storm (f/k/a Nikki Cross) or Bo Dallas show up in TNA at some point?
A clip aired for “:30 Takedown” along with a graphic that said it will air on TNA+ after Bound For Glory…
TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella spoke about the Hardys having total control over an upcoming Impact show for their 35th anniversary. Santino hyped the BFG main event as coming up next…
A tale of the tape graphic was shown for the TNA World Championship. A video package set up the main event… Leon Slater made his entrance. Nic Nemeth was shown walking through the backstage area, and then he made his entrance. Hannifan labeled Nemeth as TNA’s measuring stick…
9. Nic Nemeth vs. Leon Slater for the TNA World Championship. McKenzie Mitchell delivered in-ring introductions for the championship match. Nic targeted Slater’s right knee. Nic threw Slater to the mat and then gloated. Slater took advantage of Nic’s arrogance by dropkicking him.
Nic caught Slater in a sleeper. Slater eventually powered up to his feet and fell onto Nic to break the hold. A short time later, Nic put Slater down with a DDT and covered him for a near fall. Slater suplexed Nemeth over the top rope, but he also tumbled to the floor and held his head, while Rehwoldt assumed that his head hit the top rope.
Later, Nic hit a top rope elbow drop, but Slater hooked him into a pin for a near fall. Slater went for a handspring back elbow, but Nemeth caught him and performed a Skull Crushing Finale. Nemeth followed up with a Rough Ryder and covered Slater for a near fall.
Nic tuned up the band and went for a superkick that Slater blocked. Nic was still able to superkick Slater, who came right back with one of his own. Slater went up top and hit the Swanton 450, but it only led to a near fall. Slater acted shocked. Slater went for the move again, but Nemeth put his knees up. Nemeth hooked Slater into a pin for a near fall.
Nic headbutted Slater and hit the Danger Zone, but Slater kicked out of the finishing move. Nic went for the move again, but Slater countered with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Slater performed a corkscrew dive over the ring post onto Nic on the floor. Slater hit a top rope splash and then ran across the ring, went up top, and hit the Swanton 450 for the win.
Leon Slater beat Nic Nemeth in 18:20 to win the TNA World Championship.
Hannifan noted that Slater is the youngest TNA World Champion in history. TNA President Carlos Silva entered the ring and presented the title belt to Slater, who celebrated his win. The producer credits were shown. Slater stood on the ropes and let out a primal scream to close the show…
Powell’s POV: A very good match that provided the feel-good ending that this show really needed. Does this mean Slater has re-signed with TNA? Overall, I was on the fence when it came to giving the overall show a favorable review, but the main event and Slater’s title win put it over the top. I will have a lot more to say about Bound For Glory during my same-night audio review for Dot Net Members (including our Patreon patrons). Let me know what you thought of BFG by voting for the best match and grading the overall show below.
